sentence patterns
Binbin has been learning new sentence patterns from his teacher, Zengzeng laoshi. One phrase involves who bought what. Mama bought book. Baba bought egg pancake. Ahpo bought choo-choo train. Yipo bought bike. Binbin bought Yakuit. In (mostly) Chinese: 媽媽買書,爸爸買蛋餅,阿婆買choo-choo train, 姨婆買bike, 斌斌買Yakuit. Another phrase focuses on a school object, the bookbag. Each of his closest friends and teachers at school—Zengzeng laoshi, Miss Shaun, Miles, Chenting, and Libby—takes a turn taking the bookbag. Finally after almost any statement, Binbin may tack on the ever useful phrase, haiyou yige 還有一個, which effectively means, "and there's another."
